Your support helps sustain one of the only 24/7 restoration homes in the region, and one of the few grounded in a Christ-centered mission of healing and redemption.
Since 2017, North Star Initiative (NSI) has walked alongside survivors with compassionate, strengths-based, and trauma-informed care. Within our long-term residential program, each woman is supported in rebuilding her life—at her pace, and according to her unique goals. Our dedicated team provides around-the-clock care, along with on-site classes, therapeutic groups, and essential life skills development.
Today, this mission continues to grow. Since 2024, NSI serves survivors through two safe homes: The Harbor in Lancaster County and The Refuge in Berks County—each a place of refuge, dignity, and new beginnings.
